A Wire Stripper & Cutter is a small, hand-held device used to strip the electrical insulation from electric wires. The stripper is designed to remove the outer jacket, or insulation, of a wire but does not have the ability to cut the wire correctly. It is a useful tool, but it is not an essential one. Cutting wire with a nice, flush end cuts down on finishing time. Designed much like scissors, wire cutters use two levers attached at a the fulcrum that when pinched together pierce a piece of wire. Wire Stripper & Cutter is very effective.
